Great news, ASTRL Fibres macramé workshops are back, YEAH!!!
Join Alison from ASTRL Fibres on Sunday August 23 from 1-4pm in the Decowell Studio and learn how to make your very own macramé plant hanger. Come learn the knots in the Decowell Conservation Studio, a hidden gem of a space filled with beautiful light and historic treasures on the Woodstock Road in East Belfast. You’ll be guided by macramé artist Alison Pascoe who will show you the basics as well as some more complex knots and tips needed to handcraft a beautiful macramé plant hanger to take home with you.
Your safety and comfort is paramount so please be assured that all precautions will be taken to follow government guidelines including reducing the maximum class size to 6 per session. Please bring a mask if you have one.
If you have a favourite plant pot then bring it along and custom make your planter to fit. You will have the opportunity to select from a few different colour options of recycled cotton cord, an email with details will be sent out once all the places are filled.
All the necessary materials will be provided for you as well as tea, coffee and light snacks. This workshop is open to ages 12 + although children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable unless it is due to a COVID related cancellation. Tickets may be transferred to another person if you can’t make it.
